My Professional Background
My experience in the financial industry started in 2017 when I joined Waddell & Reed as an intern. After earning my bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Nevada, I accepted a full-time Junior Advisor position, receiving continued mentorship, and earning my Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation. Since then, I’ve found great joy in applying these tools to better the lives of individuals, families, and small businesses around me. Specifically, my experience is in working with families to piece together strategic financial plans and with businesses to establish and fund qualified retirement plans such as SIMPLE IRAs, SEP IRAs and 401(K)s.
My Wealth Management “Why”
The people. I was raised in a loving household that emphasized the importance of people. I’ve carried that core belief into my profession, finding passion in developing and fostering meaningful relationships. In providing comprehensive wealth management, I feel I can pursue this passion while helping families- and the generations that follow- live their “best lives.”
My Personal “Living Fully”
I hail from the “Biggest Little City in the World” - Reno, NV. It’s there I spent 20+ years of my life and where many of my friends and family still reside. In 2023, I took the leap of faith and moved to Seattle to pursue living fully for myself. This chapter has allowed me the opportunity to spend more time outdoors, experience live music, meet wonderful people, and attend live sports: all things I’m deeply passionate about. I enjoy fitness, wrestling, a sweet treat and sharing music with others. You’ll find me with a big smile at Chicago Bear games, but don’t tell the 12th men in Seattle that!
My Heart for Impact
I owe much, if not all, my success in life to my community. With that in mind, I’ve been involved in Rotary since 2018. In my years of being a Rotarian, I’ve had the opportunity to step into leadership roles such as Sergeant at Arms, President Elect and President. Service holds a special place in my heart and I’m constantly looking for community clean-up and food-drive opportunities. When I can, I also enjoy volunteering my time as a coach to local wrestling teams.
