My Professional Background
I began my wealth management career in 1996, serving a wide range of clients including business owners, corporate executives, families with multiple generations of wealth, and lifetime savers. By pairing my depth of back-office experience with a heart for service, I thrive at helping clients not just identify problems and obstacles, but solve them, too.
My Wealth Management “Why”
Few things can match the impact on families as much as honest conversations about money issues. Financial topics were scarcely discussed in my family growing up – while this led to a variety of avoidable problems along the way, it also fanned into flame my desire to help people confront, unpack, and sort out the tangled financial puzzles they face with confidence and a clear plan of action.
My Personal “Living Fully”
I’ve called the Pacific Northwest home for most of my life. My wife Robyn and I live in Bothell, where you’re likely to find me working (happily) on yard projects or being creative in our kitchen. Our favorite moments are gatherings around the dining table or the fire pit in the backyard, where good food, drink, and heartfelt hospitality lead to soul-feeding connections and conversations with family and friends.
My Heart for Impact
The community we love and live in has a significant amount of food insecurity, and for that reason we are big fans and supporters of Northwest Harvest. A cancer battle over the past few years showed us the tremendous value that Seattle Cancer Care Alliance brings to our region; we proudly support and stand by them as they seek to save lives and eradicate this devastating disease. Finally, some of my favorite community engagement moments over the years have happened through a men’s ministry at my church, where we offer helping hands, strong backs, and fix-it skills to meet practical needs in the surrounding community, especially single parents and the elderly.
