My Professional Background
After graduating from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business in 2020 I joined a brokerage firm, where I got my start in the Financial Service Industry. Graduating during the beginning of COVID put a halt in my goals to join an RIA right off the bat, but after getting experience in the industry, and specifically a brokerage firm, I knew the RIA space was where I needed to be and have happily made that transition by joining Highland.
My Wealth Management “Why”
Seeing what good financial guidance can do firsthand is my number one reason for being in Wealth Management. The fact that money is so often a friction point in many people’s lives inspires me to lead the way to having effective conversations to make a relationship with money more rewarding versus daunting. If I can lessen the anxiety or worry that money can carry, I have done my job. Lastly, the relational aspect of this industry inspires me. Doing all the above while cultivating long lasting relationships inspires me and keeps me going day in and day out.
My Personal “Living Fully”
I have lived in the great state of Washington my entire life and love that I have all my family and most of my friends here. I love to travel and see new places and experience new cultures. In addition, coming from a sports background and being a UW graduate, I love to spend time with friends and family watching UW Football and all the baseball you can imagine. As any true Washingtonian would say, I love to be outdoors—hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, etc. Most recently, I even took the jump of faith (literally) and went skydiving.
My Heart for Impact
My faith has always been one of my strongest foundations. I enjoy giving back to the communities that have served me over the years by volunteering. Building meaningful relationships through these efforts, allows me to begin to cultivate mentorships like the ones that have aided me and allowed me to be in the position I am today.
